The Making of…Gunnhild the She-Bear!

Our costume department has been working extremely hard to bring all of these vikings to life! One of our costume assistants sent me some photo’s from the making of Gunnhild the She-Bear. She put in over 50 hours of work! THAT is dedication. Check out these photo’s of the progress and finished project.

The She-Bear beginnings!

Hand-crafted teeth!

Madelyn hard at work. Using some awesome home-made paper mache clay to mold the nose and mouth. It’s made of toilet paper, joint compound, Elmer’s glue, and chalk.

The intricate insides!

Custom fitted head-piece.

Kyla for a fitting before.

First round of details - Hand painting

Check out the final product! AMAZING!

Great job Madelyn! Come check out many more hand crafted Viking pieces next week!
